This top was created out of a vintage nightgown, it had a stain on the bottom so that was a good reason to chop it up! I used a part of the bottom to give the narrow sleeves a makeover, now they have more volume. The original cuffs lost the elastic, I added new elastic and you can use them to transform the trumpet sleeve into a balloon sleeve. Everything on this project comes from thrifted and sourced items, the nightgown, thread, lace and elastic. Nothing was bought new. Keep in mind that this item was created organically, no pattern and is one of a kind.

Although I went to school for fashion my expertise is in design and visual merchandising, I am not a master seamstress. Having said that this is a perfectly wearable and beautiful piece in my humble opinion.
Most garments I sell are vintage. Defects are always mentioned but keep in mind I sell garments that are often 30 years old, some are 40 or 50 years old even.
