Reworked - Batik Shirt
Reworked - Batik Shirt
Am I really wanting to let go of this one? I guess I am. This reworked piece was originally a batik men’s shirt. I used the bottom part of the bodice to turn the short sleeved into longer sleeves. I used vintage lace to trim the edges. This way the boxy shirt turned into a flowy and flattering top. Each piece I transform is done by hand, no pattern is involved I cut and sew depending on the garments and the vision I have for it. Each of them is unique.

Most garments I sell are vintage. Defects are always mentioned but keep in mind I sell garments that are at least 30 years old, most are 40 or 50 years old. Some signs of wear can be expected of vintage. It’s part of the charm. Make sure you checked all pictures and descriptions before you purchase.
